My portfolio is as diverse as my interests. What I am interested in changes every day and because of that, so do the subjects in front of my lense.

To make sure you don't get lost, I figured I would at least try to group some of it together.

If you would like to work with me, you will get a feel for my style of photography here.

Now ask me, who I would choose to photograph for, if given the choice... Well, that's easy. It's you. I reckon that if you are drawn to the type of photography I do, we will probably get along. My photography is an extension of me after all.

I love working with solo entrepreneurs or passion people as I call them. People listening to their hearts desire, who go out into the world, follow their dreams and start a business. At some point the moments comes to elevate their brand and they need imagery to match. Tadaaaa, guess how I can help?

Branding Photography

Are you looking to uplevel your brand? Then professional brand photography is the way. It's one of my favorite things to do, not because of the photography but because it always involves working closely with super driven and motivated people. It is 100% a collaboration. What is it the photography will be used for? What is the vibe? Will we need different locations? What about clothing? Colors?

Here's some inspiration for you.

Dogs

To get photos like these there's a lot of work involved. And by work, I simply mean manual labor. I drag along a big ass battery operated flash. Think car-battery, not penlites. I then make dog's person be the one to point and aim the flash like a satellite dish. For one entire shoot you will have to embrace your inner photographers assistant / dog trainer / fitness buff. Teamwork makes the dream work.

I do love the results and because of the extra vibrant colors these images print well on almost all mediums, from acrylic to canvas to art paper.

Expressions Sessions

Have you ever tried taking a formal portrait of your young child in a studio setting? Like maybe for a passport photograph? Are you one of the lucky ones with a budding photo model for offspring or does such a thing usually entail lots of coaxing and bribing? Does it end up becoming frustrating? For both parties?

How about if nobody cared whether your kid was being goofy, proudly showing their recently lost first tooth, or simply being mopey? Do you take mainly smiley pictures or do you remember to also take them of your child being hilarious, over the top laughing, acting out, being unhappy or making faces? If you are lime most people, the smiley pics outweigh all the other categories. But aren't those worth remembering too?

Well that's idea behind these shots. Get the kids in front of the camera and just let them rip. Smiling? Great. Posing? Super. Fed up and hangry? Cool too. Turning your back? Yeah why not; let's show that gorgeous hair draped over your shoulders.

The inspiration came from Jill Greenberg's End Times series (I highly recommend checking out her work), except my focus was not on getting kids to cry in front of the camera, but rather on simply letting them be them.

Mixed Portfolio

Of course I take many many more photographs than just the ones above. I shoots portraits and cars and nature. I forsake taking spare clothes on flying trips (my other hobby; check out whenchicksfly.com for that) so I can stay within the weight limit and bring my camera. This resulted in the photograph of San Francisco and the Golden Gate bridge in its trademark blanket of clouds, and the wildlife imagery taken on flying safari.
